ROTARY clubs in Redditch and Bewdley have joined forces with Church Hill Middle School to provide and distribute Christmas gift parcels for under-privileged families.
Susannah Beaumont of Bewdley Rotary club, who is also head of science at Church Hill Middle school, led the fund-raising effort and contacted Redditch Rotary club to ask for contributions of food for the gift parcels.
The school’s pupils put together the decorative gift parcels and will distribute them to local families.
Redditch Rotary Club was pleased to respond to the school’s call by providing a collection of luxury food items delivered by president Mike Luck.
Project leader Susannah said: “We are delighted to be able to hand over more than 30 gift parcels this year.
“The pupils have done a fantastic job of packing and wrapping the parcels.”
