THE STUDLEY Christmas Lights Campaign is bringing this year’s activities to a close with their Annual Awards Presentations and Grand Raffle Draw.

The event, sponsored by Lamberts Sales and Lettings and KLR Interiors, will be held at KLR Interiors Showroom Alcester Road at 4pm today (Friday).

Categories include ‘Best House Lights Display 2022’, ‘Best Business Lights Display 2022’ and ‘Studley’s Unsung Heroes Award 2022’.

The best display awards are to thank people and businesses for entering into the spirit of Christmas and trying to make Christmas in Studley a bright occasion for all.

The unsung heroes award are for villagers who selflessly contribute time and effort behind the scenes for the benefit of Studley, but never seem to receive the accolades or recognition they deserve.

Steve Todd, a Studley Christmas Lights fund-raisng volunteer, said: “I love the annual awards, it’s our chance to say thank you to the people of Studley who support our fund-raising throughout the year.

“My favourite is the Unsung Heroes Award as it’s a reminder of how many great people we have in Studley and and what a wonderful community spirit the village has “

John Lambert managing director at Lamberts Sales and Lettings, said: “Lamberts are delighted to sponsor the Studley Christmas Lights Annual Awards this year.”

He added Christmas was special as it was one of the few occasions people took time out to be with family and loved ones.

“The village has changed over the years but the soul of Studley has remained – good honest people enjoying a safe place to live and bring up their children – with all of the conflict in the world we should all be very grateful for that.

“Good Luck to all the 2022 entrants.”

Kelly and Pete from KLR Interiors added: “We are delighted to continue with our fourth year of support for the Studley Christmas Lights and are proud to be associated with the great work they do for the village.”
