RESIDENTS of Callow Hill village collected over £200 for Redditch foodbank on Christmas Eve.
They gathered to sing Christmas carols in the Square on Foxholes Lane.
Over 150 people joined the event organised for the community by a group of resident volunteers.
Everyone gathered around the village hall to sing traditional Christmas carols, enjoying light festive refreshments at the same time and a collection taken during the evening raised £200 for Redditch Foodbank.
Resident Tricia Mortimer said: “The money will go towards relieving some of the pressures on the Foodbank at this time of the year.
“Thank you to everyone who came along.
“The singing was really hearty – and your generosity totally heart-warming!”
