WORCESTERSHIRE County Council are holding a second face to face session for residents to provide feedback and ask questions about the Redditch Library relocation.
The consultation follows a public meeting on January 24, where residents were given the opportunity to ask questions on the library relocation and to have their feedback noted as part of the consultation process.
This latest session provides another opportunity for those unable to attend the first meeting, to have their say.
Coun Marcus Hart, cabinet member for communities at Worcestershire County Council said: “As I reiterated at the first meeting, we are absolutely committed to providing a comprehensive and efficient library service to residents and to ensuring that archive and local history material remains accessible for local people.
“The purpose of this consultation, and what we want to hear residents’ views on, is what library services are most important, and why the proposed change in location of the library matters to them.
Worcestershire County Council is committed to holding an open and transparent consultation and an important part of that is hearing directly from residents. I’d encourage anyone who wants to have their say, to attend the public meeting on 9 February.”
The face to face meeting is from 10am until 11am on February 9.
The consultation survey is available online at: www.worcestershire.gov.uk/redditchlibraryconsultation and will close on 24 February 2023.
Redditch Library also has hard copies of the survey available, or you can request a copy by emailing: [email protected]
