Housebuilder offers six new apprenticeships for Midlands students

A MIDLANDS housebuilder has announced six new apprenticeships are available to students across the region.

The Redrow Midland’s apprenticeship scheme, which is now open to applicants, will see successful candidates work across the region, including at Silverbrook Meadow, in Redditch, and Midsummer Meadow in Warwick.

The tailored apprenticeships, which have been announced ahead of National Apprenticeship Week, will allow students with a passion for construction to build their vocational skills and will focus on different aspects of house building, including bricklaying and carpentry.

Elaine Cartwright, sales director at Redrow Midlands, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer six students the chance to join our talented team.

“Each year we offer these opportunities as part of our continuous commitment to valuing those in our local community – providing young people a kickstart to their dream careers.

“Our apprenticeships allow students to continue their education, while also gaining valuable hands-on experience which is instrumental to pursuing a career in construction.
