REDDITCH Police Safer Neighbourhood Team are advising residents to ensure their vehicles are secure after a spate of thefts.
Last week there was numerous reports of vehicle crime.
Four vans have been broken into, with two of the vehicles having had several thousand pounds worth of tools stolen.
There have also been three reported thefts of catalytic converter.
The offences all took place within the Winyates and Matchborough areas of Redditch.
In a Facebook post, PC Clarke said: “We are carrying out extensive CCTV and house to house enquiries regarding these offences and we will strive to bring the offenders to justice.
“If you have any information that may assist us in our investigations please get in touch.
“Anyone who wishes to pass on information and remain anonymous can do so by calling crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“We are advising all residents to remain vigilant and to ensure no tools or expensive equipment is left in your vehicle overnight, park with rear and/or side doors against a wall, in view of CCTV if possible.
“And consider investing in cameras, including dash cams and small cameras designed for the inside of your vehicle.”
