Cookhill Cricket Club appeals for more players

AFTER a very successful 2022 season, Cookhill Cricket Club are appealing for new players of all ages gender and ability.

The club is looking to push forward with ambitious growth plans and its latest round of sessions to providential players.

Classes include open age men’s, women’s and juniors’ training.

The club has a large number of fixtures in 2023 to suit all and welcomes new players whether they are looking for a change of club, are new to the area, or are simply looking to get into cricket.




The first training session is free to new players.

Open aged men’s training takes place from 7pm to 9pm on Thursdays at Bromsgrove School and women’s training is at Alcester Grammar School on Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm.


Juniors training, in association with AU Sports, is on Friday’s from 6pm to 7pm at St Benedicts High School in Alcester.
