REDDITCH is set to receive a new free-to-use ATM as part of an scheme to provide communities with greater access to cash.
It is one of the latest locations across the UK to benefit from the Financial Inclusion Programme run by LINK, the UK’s Cash Access and ATM network.
Although the use of cash is in decline, millions of consumers still rely on it as a payment method every day.
LINK is committed to ensuring people can continue to access cash for free for as long as they need it. Any community which believes it has an issue with access to cash can apply for support from LINK.
The new free-to-use ATM will be at Nisa Kang Stores, 18 to 19 Woodfield Close.
LINK’s head of financial inclusion Nick Quin said: “Every high street should have free access to cash.
“We are proud to be supporting communities across the country to ensure people can continue to access cash free of charge for as long as is needed.
“This free machine will be a valuable service for local residents and businesses.”
