Redditch Editorial 11th Jan, 2019   0

PEOPLE in Worcestershire are being encouraged to blow away the festive cobwebs and put their best foot forward in 2019 – and discover some of the glorious countryside on their doorstep.

Worcestershire County Council looks after 4,600km of Public Rights of Way, from footpaths to bridleways and byways.

The Public Rights of Way teams, backed by a team of loyal volunteers. also support 35 circular routes and long distance trails, including the Worcestershire Way.

These vary from a few miles to around 40 miles. To find out more visit Worcestershire County Council online  and look for walks and rides.

Visitors will also be able to access a fully interactive map there.

The County Council is also responsible for a number of parks including the Worcester Woods Country Park, Waseley Hills Country Park, Rubery and St Wulstan’s Nature Reserve, Malvern.
