Redditch dog walking business places poo bag dispensers around the town

A DOG walking business has placed poo bag dispensers around Redditch in an attempt to make the town more eco-friendly.

Redditch Dog Walking has been working closely with councillors and environmental teams at the borough council to bring their green vision to life.

The dispensers, which can be found around Ipsley Meadows, Ipsley Nature Reserve, Arrow Valley Park and Forge Mill, invite walkers to pick up a bag while they’re outside with their furry friends.

Elli Blackwell who works for Redditch Dog Walking said: “We also want to encourage walkers to pop a bag in should they have any spare.

“And recently we held a litter pick from Ipsley Meadows down to the lake and back – it was a great turnout of humans and dogs.”

In a typical week the business walks upwards of 70 dogs.
