A REDDITCH singer, songwriter and pianist has released his latest single.

Sam Ostler’s new song Live For Now comes after a huge year for him – he toured with multi-million album seller Gabrielle across the UK and had all four singles played on national station BBC Radio 2.

Among his influences, Sam cites Elton John, U2, Take That, James Blunt and Coldplay among other.

His ‘emotional pop’ songs range from piano ballads to huge full-band rockers.

Gabrielle said of Sam that ‘he has a beautiful voice’.

As well as the Dreams star, he has also toured with The Stylistics and The Three Degrees and has performed in front of well over 50,000 people in the last few years.

His reputation and fan base has been growing.

Live For Now was produced and co-written by Ian Barter who has recently produced tracks on the BBC Radio 2 playlist such as ‘Jake Isaac – Good Man’ and ‘Gabrielle – Sorry’.

Sam said: “The song tells a story of being close to someone and wanting them just for you and being their ‘only one’.”

He added he had received some great feedback about the single which can be downloaded from Spotify and other streaming sites.
