Two Birmingham teenagers arrested and charged over 11 burglaries in North Worcestershire and Solihull

TWO Birmingham men have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglaries relating to 11 raids on homes.

They all took place between January 1 and March 23 this year in several areas, including Kings Norton, Alvechurch, Wythall, Hollywood and Solihull.

A total of 21 alleged burglary offences and an alleged offence of theft of motor vehicle by unknown means have been included within this conspiracy charge, including

A burglary and an attempted burglary in Lea End Lane, Alvechurch on February 22.




A burglary in Dumble Pit Lane, Alvechurch on February 1.

A burglary in Earlswood Common, Solihull on February 3.


An attempted burglary in Barkers Lane, Wythall on January 24.

A burglary in Dark Lane, Kings Norton on January 23.

A burglary in Green Lane, Alvechurch on January 22.

A burglary in Headley Heath Lane, Birmingham on January 16.

A burglary in Poolhead Lane, Tanworth in Arden on January 7.

A burglary in Wheeley Road, Alvechurch on January 6.

A burglary in Alcester Road, Hollywood, Birmingham on January 6.

An attempted burglary in Billesley Lane, Portway, Birmingham on January 4.

The 15-year-old male from Birmingham and 19-year-old Joseph Foley from Thatchway Gardens, Hawksley, were arrested on March 27.

They were later charged with conspiracy to commit burglary on March 28 and appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on March 29.

The 15-year-old was released on conditional court bail not to enter Wythall and with an overnight curfew and regular police checks.

Joseph Foley was remanded. The pair will appear at Worcester Crown Court on April 30 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
