TWO WALKWOOD siblings are racing to success after storming to victory in the Schools’ District Cross Country.
Josh and Finnan Robins, who both run for Bromsgrove & Redditch Athletics (B&R), are continuing to show their athletics prowess after winning their age groups in the competition.
Josh, aged 12, is also ranked number one in the UK after running at the Kidderminster and Stourport Spring Open.
At this particular meeting he ran 1200m in 3mins, 56.2secs – a club record.
The young aces have made remarkable progress as both have only been running for about a year and Finnan is unbeaten in school cross country since first school.
Since running for B&R over the past year, Josh is also a record holder for the mile in his age group and broke the school district 800m record.
