REDDITCH United goalkeeper Adam Harrison will remain with the club for the 2024/25 campaign.

Harrison has agreed terms on a new deal at the Valley Stadium and made 51 appearances for the Reds in all competitions last season.

He recorded 19 clean sheets as Redditch finished in the Southern League Premier Central play-off places last term.

Harrison said: “I’m very excited to be back again for another year. There’s a great squad building once again, and I can’t wait to get going again come July.

“To work alongside a gaffer like Tim who has done what we all dream of says it all. To be a goalkeeper and have Tim and Pricey to discuss the game with is huge. I’m sure it will help me develop my game to the next level.

“Last year the fans were excellent and always made me feel welcome since arriving at Redditch. Stick with us like you did last season and we as a squad will do our best to deliver what you all deserve.”

Redditch manager, Tim Flowers, added: “The club set out to secure the lads from last season as a priority before addressing any incomings. Following a fourth place finish it was imperative to obtain the services of those from last season.

“I’m delighted to secure the goalkeeper, Adam Harrison, who kept 19 clean sheets in 51 appearances which is a strong average.

“The goalkeeping coach, Dan Price, thinks highly of him having spent a year and a half working alongside him. Adam is one looking to kick on and improve further, and having spoken to him he’s a very driven and motivated player.

“I look forward to working closely with Adam for the upcoming season.”
