REPORT
The Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination Football League returned with their first matches of the New Year with only three matches postponed due to the weather.
In the Premiership, Arrow Valley beat AFC Thomas Brothers 2-0 thanks to a brace from Shane Hancox to lift the victors up to third in the table level on points with Austin Ex Apprentices in second.
In the Championship, Meadow Park eased to a 4-0 win against Beoley Village.
And in League 2, a Mikah Knight hat-trick helped Bartley Reds B earn a 3-3 draw against second-placed Redditch Town whilst Astwood FC Reds and FC Redditch drew by the same scoreline and Red Star Bromsgrove hammered Catshill Rangers 6-1.
In the Terry Cup, Rubery Memorial secured a place in the quarter-finals after beating Stoke Prior 4-3 on penalties whilst FC Arrow Spa also reached the last eight with a 2-1 win against SSS Lions.
And in the BSA Cup, South Birmingham Activ are into the semi-finals after beating Abbeydale 6-0 as Ellis Reilly netted a hat trick.
In the Keith Turner Cup, Rubery Athletico beat VKL United 4-0 to reach the semi-finals where they will play Catshill with a date to be confirmed in due course.
And in the Dick Parsons Cup, Redditch Borough JW beat Rednal Bilbao 4-2 to reach the semi-finals.
In the external cup competitions, Oasthouse were beaten 5-2 by Black Country United in the BCFA Sunday Amateur Cup quarter-finals.
Lastly, AFC Walkwood and Feckenham progressed to the next round of the Worcestershire FA Sunday Junior Cup with a 3-1 win against fellow Redditch league side Hizza United.
