23-year-old fighting for his life after Unicorn Hill assault

A 23-YEAR-OLD man is fighting for his life after he was assaulted on Unicorn Hill in the early hours of Saturday morning (August 29).

The victim suffered serious head injuries from the attack that happened at around 4am near the Three Cooks restaurant.

He is currently in hospital where his condition is described as life threatening.

A 21-year-old man from Gloucester was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault but has since been bailed until the middle of September.




Detective Sergeant Laura Wright said: “There were a number of people in the area at the time, many of whom were spoken to by officers at the scene but we’re keen to speak to anyone else who saw something that could help with our enquiries.”
