A wedding present she’ll never forget!

A TAKE That fan will never forget her wedding day after Gary Barlow sent her a personalised video wishing her good luck.

The former X Factor judge recorded the special clip for bride-to-be Laura Hands after her husband Stephen met the singer at a signing in Manchester.

The Studley resident secretly tracked down the star to surprise his wife after a friend put him in touch with Mr Barlow’s manager.

He managed to keep it from his fiancé until their big day in December where he played the clip while making his groom’s speech.

“We both agreed no presents, then during his speech he just said ‘I know we said no presents but I’ve got a surprise for you.” said Mrs Hands.

“He went over to the projector and started playing the video and Gary Barlow was wishing me a wonderful wedding day.

“I just couldn’t believe it. He said he had been invited and he was sorry he couldn’t make it but wished us a lovely day.

“Everyone was just in total shock. I’ve always been a fan and it was just the best present ever.”

The wedding hairdresser was then presented with a framed picture which included photos of the star as well as an autographed wedding invitation which she had bought from Celebrate and Decorate at Studley Garden Centre.

Lindsey Turner, who owns the bespoke wedding service, said she could not believe the news.

“Laura phoned me and told me she had something really exciting to tell me about the invites I had made, “ she said.

“I couldn’t believe Gary Barlow had signed one of them. All of them are unique but now it makes them even more personalised and special. It’s just amazing.”
