Man taken to hospital by air ambulance and arrests made after violent incident in Alcester

A MAN has been taken to hospital by air ambulance after a violent incident in Alcester earlier this afternoon.

Witness reports suggest a man walked into Alcester Health Clinic with stab injuries around 2pm.

The air ambulance landed at the scene shortly afterwards, along with three police cars.

He was treated by medics at the health centre before being taken by stretcher to the air ambulance in the company of a paramedic and a police officer.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.29pm to reports of a stabbing nearby to Fields Park Drive in Alcester.

“One ambulance and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene.




“Upon arrival we found a man with serious injuries.

“He received treatment from ambulance staff at the scene before being conveyed to hospital by air ambulance for further treatment.”


Eyewitnesses confirmed the air ambulance, with the patient on board, left at 2.45pm.

Warwickshire Police said two men had been arrested in connection with the incident – one of those men has been taken to hospital.

Officers said they did not believe there is any risk to the wider public.
