Ambulance calls on the rise over bank holiday

PARAMEDICS were called more than 11 million times in the West Midlands during the bank holiday weekend with Worcestershire seeing nearly 1,000 999 calls.

Between Friday (August 26) and Monday (August 29) 995 ambulances were called through the county which is nearly seven per cent more than last year’s holiday figures.
