ALCESTER country market is to play host to BBC Coventry and Warwickshire’s Shane O’Connor’s Breakfast Show live on Friday, August, 7am-10am.
Shane will be broadcasting from the market and talking to market producers and customers, so everyone is invited to Alcester High Street on Friday morning to join in.
Alcester country market is open every Friday from 8am to 12noon, first Saturday of the month 10am – 1pm, and during Alcester’s food fairs, street markets and artisan markets.
The market is run as a co-operative selling high quality goods that have been made or grown by members and is renowned for its fresh seasonal vegetables, flowers and plants, all locally grown with very low road miles.
Also on offer are tempting cakes, scones, sausage rolls and quiches, all home made with no chemicals or preservatives plus delicious jams, chutneys, pickles and free range eggs.
In addition there is also a host of talented craft workers at the market.
