A REDDITCH man is celebrating after scooping the first prize of a £1,000 luxury holiday in a competition run by UK’s largest mobile coffee franchise Cafe2U.
Peter Rose, director at research expert Tiller Research, was the lucky winner of the competition that ran during the Uefa Euro 2016 tournament.
A regular customer of the Redditch Cafe2U van, Peter entered the competition by obtaining stamps on a special promotional loyalty card and is now looking forward to taking his family on a luxury trip abroad.
The customer competition, which ran across the business’ network of more than 75 coffee vans, was a hit with Cafe2U coffee drinkers all over the country, generating nearly 3,600 entries, and saw 22 third-place coffee making kits and 4 BOSE SoundLink speaker runner-up prizes given out.
Phil George, the owner of Cafe2U Redditch, who entered Peter’s card into the draw, said: “It is great that for all the entries we have had from Cafe2U customers across the UK, the winner has come from Redditch.
“Peter is a regular customer of mine and for it to be from my patch makes me even happier for the winner of this great prize. It’s testament to what we try to achieve at Cafe2U as we strive to be more than just your regular mobile coffee company.”
Peter added: “I was overwhelmed when Cafe2U informed me I had won. To beat so many people is amazing. I’ve never won anything like this before so will make sure I enjoy every minute of my luxury holiday. I will certainly be buying plenty more coffee from Phil from now on!”
