REDDITCH’S Kingfisher Shopping Centre is pulling out all the stops to keep families entertained this summer, with activities planned for every week of the summer holidays.
Kicking off the jam-packed schedule on Wednesday, July 27, children are invited to spin Kids’ Club mascot Charlie the Monkey’s wheel for the chance to win prizes.
On Saturday, August 6 Charlie the Monkey will return to host a reading challenge as part of the Centre’s ongoing partnership with Redditch Library.
The following day – Sunday, August 7 – the kids are encouraged to limber up and join the Centre’s free circus workshop where they can master the art of plate spinning, juggling and everything in-between.
Children’s TV favourite Mr Bloom will be wowing the crowds with two performances of his famous high-energy show on Thursday, August 18 between 11am and 3pm. A group of lucky shoppers will also get the chance to meet the star of the show and take photos on the day.
The fun doesn’t stop there as children will also be able to enjoy face painting, balloon modelling and regular visits from Kingfisher’s friendly Kids’ Club mascot, Charlie the Monkey, who will have prizes to give away all summer.
Mr Bloom’s performances will take place in Milward Square near M&S and Next at 11am and 2.30pm. All other activities will take place in Worcester Square.
