THERE WAS a double celebration in Studley as staff and pupils at Lucy Jane’s School of Dance celebrated the school’s 14th birthday and ‘amazing’ exam results.
The Batchley-based school, which is home to tap, ballet, riverdance, freestyle and street dance, was the brainchild of Lucy Jane Devey, who is the principal and owner.
She said: “I am so proud of all my students, every pupil has worked so hard and they have passed with amazing results – over 70 per cent passing with distinction or honours.”
During the event, which was held at Studley Road Social Club on October 3, pupils were presented with their exam awards by the Mayor of Redditch, Councillor Pattie Hill.
