PUMPKINS, witches, wizards and ghosts were out in abundance last week when Early Help threw their first Hallowe’en party – thanks to supermarket giant Asda.
Early Help, which provides help for families in Redditch and Bromsgrove with children up to 19 years old, hosted the event at the Town Hall on Friday (October 30) from 10am until 12 noon.
During the party, which was sponsored by Asda, youngsters enjoyed crafting witches and wizard hats, paper plate masks and biscuit decorating alongside pumpkin carving, apple bobbing and getting up close and personal with some creepy encounters.
Louise Hall, community development co-ordinator, said: “The children had an absolute ball with all the activities on offer and so did the parents and staff who had a blast in their fancy dress.
“We can’t thank Asda enough for their support with the Halloween parties.”
The supermarket chain donated £227 to Redditch and Bromsgrove Early Help alongside providing fancy dress costumes for all the staff involved in the day.
