SCHOOL children wore uniforms of a different kind as they learnt about those who fought in the two World Wars.
Pupils at Matchborough First School honoured those who lost their lives in both conflicts as part of Forces Friday.
Parents and carers were invited into the Matchborough Way school to have a cup of tea and biscuit to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
As part of the day they also had a forces themed menu of toad in the hole, beef cobbler and cheese and potato pie which were served up in genuine metal mess tins.
