THE ever-popular fun, family day out will be returning to Arrow Valley Countryside Park later this June.
Redditch Borough Council are once again teaming up with Redditch Lions to bring residents and visitors the annual Green Fair and Lion Fun day on Sunday (June 26) from 11am until 5pm.
This year, attractions include live music, pony rides, face painting, children’s activities, climbing wall, crafts stalls, circus skills, laser clay shooting, owls, smoothie bike, demonstrations and more.
There will also be a classic car display with many well known and some more obscure cars of yesteryear on show in their original glory. There will also be a display of Enfield Motorbikes.
An exciting event is planned for the main arena with Local Cadet Corps invited to complete challenges, such as a game of tug of war, in a bid to win the Redditch Lions Trophy.
John Godwin, Head of Leisure and Cultural Services, said: “Year on year the Green Fair gets bigger and better and we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for some excellent weather to go with it! There’s something for everyone to get involved in for a fun, family day out.”
Dave Beech from Redditch Lions, said: “We’re really glad to have teamed up with the Borough Council again to bring this fantastic event back to Arrow Valley. Thee’s going to be so much to do, you best get there early so you can enjoy it all!”
There is free admission and car parking at the event as well as a programme raffle with prizes.
Details of the Fair can be found on the council website and at www.redditchlions.org.uk.
