A HASELOR Primary School teacher is preparing for the prestigious England Hockey Knockout Masters Over-35s shield final at Lee Valley this weekend.
Sophie Hamilton, a sports teacher and former pupil at the school, near Alcester, will be part of the team from Bretforton Hockey Club competing at the Olympic pitch on Saturday (April 30).
As part of her training, Sophie has been working with her pupils and her ‘Wake Up, Shake Up’ routine is a regular part of their Thursday morning activity.
She said: “Regardless of the result, we are already winners in coming this far and I’m delighted to be able to share this experience with my pupils.”
