AFTER their GCSE success, local heads reflect on the achievement of students.
“These results represent truly outstanding achievement for our students. Students and staff have worked incredibly hard to ensure this impressive set of results. As a school the results have significantly exceeded targets which is pleasing,” Guy Shears, executive principal at RSA Arrow Vale.
“We are extremely proud of our students and their achievements and to see such positive progress for all our students is a testament to all the hard work the students and staff have put in. The government performance measures put us in a really strong position and we are looking forward to building on this success next year,” Jodie Bolter from Tudor Grange Academy.
“The school is very proud of the achievements of all its students and the number returning to study in the sixth form promises to be some of the highest ever. Particularly pleasing were the number of students attaining the highest grades in a number of subject areas,” Trinity High School head Adrian Ward.
“I am very pleased that the hard work and dedication shown by many of our pupils has led to increased A and A* grades and another set of fantastic results overall. Over 40 pupils have achieved at least 3 A grades with a number of pupils achieving A* and A across the board,” Lee Gray, Studley High School headteacher.
“I am really pleased that the students have done so well and know that the vast majority will have secured their first choice sixth form place. Having performed so well last year, making the top 100 non-selective schools in the country, I am thrilled to have another set of fantastic results,” Alcester Academy headteacher, Paul Hyde.
