A REDDITCH man is revving up his MGF VVC 1.8 16v for a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the marque this weekend at the National Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon.
Car fan Orion Moon owns two of the iconic cars and is smitten by them.
“It is hard to believe that it is now 20 years ago the last and fastest MG was born,” he said.
“The MGFs are so cheap to buy, fix, insure and run right now but not for much longer as more and more people can see just what a little stunner it really is.”
Hundreds of the vehicles are expected at Gaydon this Saturday and on Sunday there will be a road run from Gaydon to Longbridge celebrating the car.
Gates open at Gaydon at 9.30am and tickets are £20 per car. For more details visit http://www.mgf20.info/ .
