CREATIVE children have helped redesign an information board as part of an overhaul of a borough beauty spot.
The newly renamed Matchborough Water Gardens has a new board thanks to Matchborough First School Academy pupils while members of Christchurch have been regularly cleaning up the area.
Headteacher Jackie Harris said: “We were very pleased to help design the new sign. The children went down and had a look at the environment and wanted to include mini-beasts in the project.”
Coun Juliet Brunner, who represents Matchborough on the borough council, added: “I’m certain the efforts of the Matchborough community will help the Redditch in Bloom entry retain their gold status and who knows, we could get platinum.”
