THE NEW Pokémon craze is sweeping Redditch as players take to the streets to discover new hotspots.
Gamers were flooding through Church Green on Monday (July 18) looking for the secret creatures as part of the Pokémon Go app which has taken over the country.
Both St Stephen’s Church and Arrow Valley Lake are reportedly the best places to go to meet other players and catch a multitude of Pokémon.
The game has divided the nation with some arguing it is a great way to get people out and about who might usually be stuck indoors and others deeming it a waste of time – either way the trend appears to be as hot as the weather in Redditch.
