Police appeal for witnesses following Batchley robbery

A 54-YEAR-OLD man suffered significant facial injuries after a robbery in Batchley.

The victim was walking along Ludlow Road at 5.45am on July 5 when he was approached by three men who went on to physically assault him, causing him to fall to the floor.

The man, who required treatment for his injuries at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, also had his mobile phone and some money stolen during the attack.

Police have charged two men in connection with the incident and are on the lookout for a third man who is described as white, in his 20s, around 5ft 9ins, possibly with a shaved head and was wearing a white t-shirt.




Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 191S of July 5.
