Police seek witnesses to Headless Cross robbery

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy suffered facial injuries and cuts and bruises after he was robbed in Headless Cross.

The victim was walking home along Mason Road at around 10.40pm on Friday, July 17 when he was approached by three men who assaulted him in an unprovoked attack.

The youngster, who required treatment for his injuries at the Alexandra Hospital, also had his Calvin Klein bag stolen during the assault.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident and are on the lookout for the three suspects, all of whom are described as white males around 18 years old.




One is of slim build, around 6ft 4ins and was wearing tight blue jeans and a white top.

The second is around 6ft, of medium build, and was wearing a black jacket with blue stripes down the sides, whilst the third is 6ft and was wearing jeans.


Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 861S of July 17.
