Redditch beauty spot launch is a sophisticated success

THERE were champagne and canapés as far the perfect smoky eye could see at a Redditch beauty spot last week.

Staff at Legends Hair and Beauty welcomed guests on Thursday (October 1) to the launch of their new Comcit by Crystal Clear equipment which fights anti-ageing and leaves clients feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

Upon arrival at the event, ladies were treated with a glass of bubbly and a gift bag consisting of vouchers and Clarins testers before they were swept away to survey the salon whilst being serenaded by the strings of an electric violin.

The Standard’s Beth Wright enjoyed a complimentary Clarins make-over before being whisked off for a relaxing arm massage and Comcit demonstration.

One of the salon’s many apprentices were also on hand to sweep visitors locks into a variety of styles including a fishtail braid, messy up-do and relaxed beach waves.

Joint owners of the Kenilworth Close haven, Lauren Alekna and Stacey Tudor, called the event a great success and were over-joyed at the response to the new equipment.

“It was a lovely night and the machine has proved to be a great investment,” Stacey added.

The £11,400 investment puts the girls’ salon on the map as only 100 establishments in the country have the Comcit machinery which allows therapists to treat common skin complaints including stretch marks, acne and cellulite.

THE Mayor of Redditch, Councillor Pattie Hill was on hand during the evening which she deemed a ‘pleasant night’.

Coun Hill added: “The girls made a grave effort to sort out my double chin – it was a lovely night.”
