Redditch residents can help refugees with your unwanted items

Redditch Editorial 22nd Jul, 2016 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

RESIDENTS can help make a difference to the lives of refugees who have lost everything by dropping off unwanted items at two collection points in Redditch tomorrow (Saturday, July 23).

Everything from tents, sleeping bags, wind-up torches, tracksuit bottoms, men’s T-shirts, sunhats, sunscreen, toiletries, flip flops, sandals, trainers, women’s thin long sleeved tops, tunics or long dresses, leggings, long head scarves, new underwear, socks, and new hairbrushes are needed. So too are nappies, baby wipes, and pushchairs.

Members of Bromsgrove & Redditch Welcome Refugees will be waiting to receive your donations at St Luke’s Church (The Bridge) on Evesham Road, Headless Cross, B97 4JX or at Redditch Central Mosque on Jinnah Road, Smallwood, B98 7ER.
