A BOROUGH slimmer is enjoying the lighter side of life after shedding more than four stone.
Heath Tattersall joined Weight Watchers along with his wife Hazel after looking at his wedding photos and wanting to tackle his weight problem.
He went to a meeting at Mappleborough Green Village hall and has never looked back after losing a total of 57lbs.
The Matchborough resident now enjoys shopping for clothes after struggling to find things he liked in a extra, extra large size.
He said: “I can’t begin to tell you how much better I feel as a result of losing four stone.
“From increased energy to more confidence, I’ve never felt better.
“Weight Watchers is a great way to shed those excess pounds. The meeting is fun and supportive and what really makes the difference is the motivation and good advice I get from Jennie and my fellow members.”
Leader Jennie Richards, who used to run the group, added he had been a huge inspiration to her and the other members of the group.
“He is proof that you can lose weight and still enjoy life. Heath never once gave up even when the going was tough. His focus has really paid off. He looks amazing.”
