AN ORGANISATION which fights to reduce the number of young people experiencing homelessness is urging Redditch residents to give up their bed for a night.
Redditch Nightstop will hold its annual Sleep Out on October 10 to mark World Homeless Day and the team will be on hand in the Kingfisher Centre on September 10 to answer any questions regarding registration for the event.
Although the Sleep Out is not the full ‘homeless experience’, it willl give participants an insight into what around 2,500 people across England face every night.
Nightstop recommends participants bring warm clothes and a sleeping bag to wrap up in and some cardboard to sleep on.
