STUDLEY High School welcomed their local MP Nadhim Zahawi to talk to students about apprenticeships last Friday (May 6).
The pupils listened to the MP as he explained the opportunities available through apprenticeship and also mentioned the 20 plus businesses in the Studley in Business group.
Other guests visiting the school included the chairman of Studley Parish Council, Councillor Paul Beaman who also advocated the concept of apprenticeships after using it as way to get into business himself.
He encouraged the youngsters to consider all options when they leave school.
Headteacher Lee Gray said: “It has been great to welcome local businesses and receive such positive feedback about the school. We are looking forward to developing ever closer links with industry to help promote employability skills and opportunities for our pupils.”
