STUDLEY Parish Council are stepping up surveillance to prevent further vandalism of the village’s skate park.
At a parish council meeting on Tuesday (October 6) councillors voted unanimously to replace the current camera, which is around 13 years old, with a new version which will use infra red to increase its night vision.
Parish councillors have been plagued by acts of vandalism at the skate park including glue being spread over the ramp and graffiti sprayed the whole way round it.
The cost to replace the current camera will be in the region of £223 and the existing camera repositioned to overlook the main hall.
