Teenager designs logo for youth scheme

A TEENAGE girl has designed the new logo for a youth activities scheme running this summer.

Sarah Bennett, who goes to What’s Your Point? youth club, has created the design for the new the Hot Stuff Summertime Fun project.

The programme offers free activities for every age group from toddlers to teenagers through the school holidays following a partnership between community groups in the borough including Redditch Early Help and YMCA.

The 14-year-old was given the task to create a logo which reflected what the scheme should represent to young people.

The logo has now been published on all of the event’s promotional material.

Activities start from today (Friday) with a nature trail at Arrow Valley Park, while other events include BMX sessions, jewellery making and football competitions.
