A FINAL plea has been launched for host families for a party of French students coming next month to Redditch.
Just a handful of families are needed for the trip to become a real success.
The venture is being run by LEC, a reputable French language trip organisation aiming to put Redditch on the map of destinations in the UK for French students to come and learn English.
Families that agree will receive a £195 fee to host the students for the duration of the stay (13 nights) from July 12-25.
Students will be busy all day with lessons in the morning and activities in the afternoon while hosting families are at work.
Families duties include providing a warm environment for the students in the evening, and keeping them at weekends.
The venture represents a wonderful opportunity for families with children of all ages to discover a new culture plus it represents a chance for a family to make a connection with a student and perfect their own language skills.
Families with no children also welcome.
