ALCESTER’S LloydsPharmacy has opened its doors to a modern approach to community wellbeing.

Councillor Mike Gittus, chairman of Stratford-on-Avon District Council, helped the Alcester team, along with the High Bailiff of Alcester Vaughan Blake and loyal customer Tracy Fordham, to cut the cut the ribbon, offically declaring the centre open on Tuesday (June 30).

Sarah Wells, pharmacy manager, said: “We know many who suffer from long-term health conditions don’t always want to go to their doctor every time they have a question,” Sarah added.

“We’re able to support the work of GPs and other healthcare professionals in the area by offering convenient, one-to-one care.”

LloydsPharmacy in Alcester is open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5. 30pm on Saturday.
