Woman arrested on suspicion of murdering Redditch man released on bail

A WOMAN arrested following the death of a man in Redditch, was released on bail yesterday (Friday, June 24) say West Mercia Police.

Officers were called to an address on Seymour Drive, Redditch on Monday, (June 13) at 1.40am. On arrival, they found 43 year-old David Simon McTighe (known to his family as Simon) with a serious head injury. He was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

A 49-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder the following Tuesday (June 21) and was taken into custody.

However yesterday, after being interviewed, she was released on bail until a date in October.




Police are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have seen or heard from Mr McTighe between Sunday (June 5) and Monday (June 13) to contact them.
