Woodrow furry favourite found injured

Redditch Editorial 14th Aug, 2015 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

A WOODROW favourite has been rushed to the vets today, Friday (August 14) after being found with a large open wound to her back.

Staff at the Woodrow Centre’s Oasis Charity Shop spotted their injured furry friend and leapt to her rescue with the help of local police community support officers.

The friendly feline is a favourite of Woodrow residents and spends her days snoozing in the centre’s library or in the charity shop itself.

As soon as staff caught sight of the injured cat they contacted the officers, who also have a soft spot for the much-loved feline, and they hurried to her rescue.

Not wanting to leave TJ in a stricken state they contacted the RSPCA and, with their approval, took her to a local vets where she is now being cared for.

It’s not known who owns TJ but anyone who does know is urged to tell them that TJ was transported to Vets 4 Pets at Unit 3, Charlotte Place, 14 Studley Road, Redditch.

The practice can be reached online at www.vets4pets.com/find-a-practice/vets4pets-redditch/ or via telephone on 01527 520607.
