With the festive season just around the corner, more and more adult events are popping up around Worcester and Redditch.
You can also access a range of festive-themed entertainment online if you’d rather not brave the frosty weather.
Exploring Online Festive Entertainment
Even though Worcester is home to many festive events, it’s important to take into account the wide range of online entertainment that’s available. Streamers such as Netflix have recently released their Christmas content schedule, with shows including The Merry Gentlemen, Our Little Secret and Carry-On. You can also download Christmas tree decorator games, that give you the chance to decorate a virtual free using baubles, tinsel and more.
There are also festive titles like Tree Wishes, a casino online slot game featuring Santa hats, baubles and present symbols, with several prize boxes up for grabs. Each one contains a multiplier, which combines with the free welcome bonus and free spins, and adds to the fun and excitement. As games like this are based on chance, you never know what’s coming next, much like when opening a present at Christmas. Other adult games include 9 Gifts of Christmas and Real Christmas Roulette, meaning there is truly something for everyone.

Adult Events Happening in Worcester and Redditch
Trans-Siberian Orchestra is putting on a rock opera that is a must-see event for those in the area. The show fuses classical music with hard rock, adding a sprinkling of Christmas cheer through high-energy performances. This year’s show is putting a big focus on the narrative of Christmas, with an unforgettable music score. The performance is set to take place on the 30th of November, at the DCU Center in Worcester. While a lot of their shows are not live-streamed the TSO have uploaded previous events to their website for those who cannot attend.
You also have the Festival of Lights which takes place in Worcester every year. This returns on the 1st of December and it takes place at the Worcester Common Oval. It’s a free event that runs up until 9 pm with a variety of activities. Some of the key highlights of the event include lighting the city’s Christmas tree, and interactive light installations and festive cocktails. You also have ice skating, light sculptures and plenty of food vendors dotted around to make the experience a bit more immersive for adults in the area.
Closer to the time, even more events are set to be announced as well, as councils rush to plan events to try and keep up with the demand of the festive season. If you want to be in with a chance to attend a ticketed event, book in advance to avoid disappointment.
If you are not able to attend events like this in person, then be sure to keep an eye on the City of Worcester’s social media pages. There you will find several event listings, as well as any updates regarding live streaming. Sometimes councils upload footage of the event, and make announcements, so it’s worth keeping up to date on the latest news.
