ALVECHURCH recovered from two goals down to draw 2-2 against 10-man Halesowen Town.
The home side raced into a two-goal lead by the half-hour mark to leave the visitors with a mountain to climb at the break at The Grove.
However, Dan Sweeney reduced the deficit shortly after half time before the Yeltz had Ryan Wynter sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity moments later.
And Krystian Pearce equalised for Church on the hour mark with the visitors unable find a winner in the remaining minutes.
The result means Alvechurch sit 12th in the Southern League Premier Central.
Halesowen broke the deadlock on 20 minutes when Conor Tee brought down Todd Parker’s lofted ball into the box and lashed a shot into the roof of the net.
And the home side doubled their lead on the half-hour mark as Kieren Donnelly superbly glanced Reece Mitchell’s cross from the left into the bottom right corner.
However, Alvechurch halved the deficit five minutes after half time when Sweeney curled a first time shot over Yeltz goalkeeper Daniel Platt from 20-yards out.
And Wynter then clipped the heels of Dylan Allen-Hadley with the Church striker clean through on goal just outside the penalty area.
The referee was left with no choice but to show Wynter a straight red card to leave the home side down to 10-men with more than 35 minutes still to play.
And Church made the extra man count on the hour mark as Pearce headed in Bradley Stretton’s corner from the right.
The home side spurned a golden chance to reclaim the lead as Donnelly smashed a shot against the crossbar from 10-yards out.
Both teams pushed for a winner in a frantic finale as the game ended all square.
Alvechurch travel to Banbury United on Tuesday, February 18 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Spencer Stadium.
