REDDITCH boxer Jay Van-Gelder celebrated a second win in the professional ranks with a dominant points victory.
Van-Gelder moved to 2-0 with a commanding 40-35 points victory against Dylan Nixon (0-4) at the Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.
The Redditch fighter moved up two weight classes to fight in the co-main event as a last-minute replacement.
However, Van-Gelder scored a first-round knockdown with a powerful left hook against a heavier and substantially taller opponent.
With Nixon in survival mode, Van-Gelder unleashed a barrage of punches as he landed heavy shots from all angles.
Van-Gelder won all four rounds to win by unanimous decision.
The Redditch boxer will likely return to the ring in November later this year.
