We Paid GetAFollower $100 to Grow Our Brand Social Media: An Honest Review
We Tested GetAFollower for TikTok & Social Media Engagement – Full Review
You’ve probably felt it yourself: that low-key pressure all the time. Grow fast, go viral, hit numbers, post every day like a machine. Meanwhile, you’re over here planning your next shoot, prepping your next drop, dealing with returns, and still trying to crack the mystery of Instagram engagement.
As a small eco fashion brand, we’ve always cared way more about our product than playing games with the algorithm. But let’s be real, our audience hangs out on social. So, we tried something a bit different.
We spent $100 on a growth service…GetAFollower, to be exact.
This is us breaking down what we actually bought, how it worked out, and whether we’d recommend it.
Who is GetAFollower?
GetAFollower has been doing social media “boosts” since back in 2011. Meaning they’re not one of those spammy pop-ups you randomly see mid-scroll.
Their buyers range from influencers to brands to artists to businesses just trying to not post into total silence.
What we really liked is that there are tons of services for pretty much every type of account, and you can combine everything you need into a single custom order.
What Services Do They Offer?
They cover more or less everything:
TikTok This is where we started. The TikTok options are everything you’d expect: views, followers, comments, shares, saves. Getting anywhere these days takes numbers first, and they know it.
Facebook Definitely not where our audience hangs, but if you’re still doing the FB thing, GetAFollower’s got likes, shares, reactions, followers, group members – even post reviews and poll votes.
Instagram Followers, likes, reels views, story views, comments, reactions, poll votes, link clicks, direct messages. This might be their biggest selection.
YouTube Subscribers, likes, comments, replies, even dislikes. You can even buy watch hours if you’re doing the monetization route.
Other Platforms We were surprised how much they offer outside the usual stuff. Threads, Twitch, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Vimeo, SoundCloud…and even things like Google reviews and traffic for websites.
Why We Considered GetAFollower
Yes…we know how it sounds. Buying followers or views sounds a bit weird.
We looked into 30+ of these platforms before landing on GetAFollower. Some were downright odd, some gave clear bot-farm vibes.
GetAFollower stood out in a totally positive way:
- They’ve been around since 2011. It’s hard to fake 14 years in this kind of space.
- Not promising miracles. Just steady numbers from actual humans, with solid filters.
- People stick around: Independent reviews said the followers don’t just bounce after 24 hours. And they have a “60-day refill” if anything starts vanishing.
- Geo targeting: Since most of our shoppers + audience are either UK or EU, we liked being able to actually pick those regions.
- Checkout didn’t sketch us out. Transactions were SSL secured, the site looked solid. They even accept crypto.
And the cherry on top – they hand out refunds if nothing shows up.
Our Experience with GetAFollower
For our test run, we ordered 50,000 TikTok Views for one of our brand videos. Big campaign message, great footage, solid editing, and it deserved more eyeballs than it was getting.
The price we paid – just under 100 bucks.
Placing the Order
You don’t need an account or subscription to use GetAFollower. You just head to the service you want, pick your quantity, select geo-targeting options, add the video URL, and checkout.
We paid with our MasterCard, and the confirmation email came through in about a minute.
Delivery Speed
The views started landing within three hours. They didn’t flood in either. They built gradually across the first few days. It made everything feel natural and much less…obvious.
They estimated 6–7 days to finish delivery. Ours took just over 5 days. The final count was 50,166 views, so a slight over-delivery.
Impact on Engagement
Within about 36 hours, the video was getting more organic attention. Not just views – proper interaction. People commented, followed our profile after watching, rewatched clips, even went through our past few posts.
The clip ended up getting more likes than anything we’d posted all month. Clearly the views helped trigger something, because it got pushed to more real people.
Real or Fake Views?
It’s impossible to say where every single view came from. But nothing about the engagement seemed off. We didn’t see any drops, either right after delivery or later. It’s been a couple of weeks now and every view is still sitting right there.
Bot-generated numbers usually fall apart fast. Ours didn’t – they looked real, they stuck around, and our video got extra momentum.
Simple Question: Is GetAFollower Legit?
From our side? Yes, totally.
The order process was smooth, the results showed up fast, and we didn’t see any dodgy behavior on our account afterwards. No weird drop-offs, no shady follow spam – just solid delivery.
There’s optional targeting, you don’t need to sign your life away, and everything you buy is backed with a refill guarantee. Not sketchy, not clunky, just a straightforward service that works.
Wrapping Up: Is GetAFollower Worth it?
In a word, yes. For us, it was 100 bucks well spent.
This stuff isn’t going to magically turn your feed into Vogue or whatever, but that’s not the point. If what you need is visibility to get rolling (like we did), this gives you a legit nudge without you having to throw half your day at your Reels insights.
Our audience is digital (Gen Z, and yes, very picky) and this really did help us land in front of them. Sometimes “playing the game” means playing smarter.
So, yeah – we’d use it again. And surprisingly, we wouldn’t feel even a bit weird about it.
