ONE of the men behind Britain’s best loved sitcom will be coming to Redditch.
John Challis, who played Boycie in Only Fools and Horses, will be visiting Waterstone’s in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre on Saturday, March 14.
The actor, who graced television screens in the hit BBC show for more than ten years, will be signing copies of the second instalment to his autobiography Boycie and Beyond from 12pm until 2pm.
The book covers John’s time making the BBC hit and also gives personal insights into how he met his wife Carol and other acting roles.
No tickets are needed and a selection of his other work which includes his first autobiography and fiction novels will also be available.
Store manager Andrew Middleton said staff at the store were excited to welcome Mr Challis, who is one of many famous authors to visit the town.
