WHO said Redditch has no musical talent? Check out the Worcester Music Festival which takes place this weekend (Friday to Sunday) which features a massive line-up of up and coming bands including 13 acts from Redditch.
There will be something for all tastes with the Redditch offering ranging from the pop of Tracy Hunt and Silverlake to the rock of Stuart Woolfenden and Solid State with all genres covered in between.
Entry is free and all funds raised during the festival will go to its charity of the year, the Worcestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (WRSASC) which helps deal with cases from Redditch.
“The WRSASC is an invaluable, local cause which hopes to set up a specialist counselling service for children,” said Chair Ant Robbins.
